Very cool! I would love to have one of those for a DD here in Denver. Change it over to a Turbo'd Diesel and drive the hell out of it.

Like the hatch in the roof for a gunner? Be a great way to clear traffic out of the way. :D
The 2.5na diesel is a pretty good little engine for the 90. I have friends that have them in 90s, an 88 and even a 107 Ser I pickup and they have no problem cruising the interstate at the speed limit.
Did anyone check out the sellers other sales?
They have five 1/4 tom trailers for sale. located in San Diego. hmmmmmm

They've been trying to sell that thing for a while now. This must be the third time I've seen it up for sale.

I have wanted to bid on it the last 2 times it was on ebay but not sure how I would get the "parts" back here :(
If you look around there are several in that area for around $5,000
Now if I could only find someone in that part of Canada

Isn't that Handbuilt's neck of the woods?
Other option is to buy a couple of the ex-Mod trucks. I use some of my frequent flyer miles and go to visit the family in Maine. Get the empty uhaul, drive up. Strip the defenders down totally and load everything into the back of a U-haul. I bet you could fit 3-4 D-90s into the back of a 24' truck. Engines and axles, suspension and frames on the bottom. Maybe build up a false plywood floor over this. Tubs on this "floor", fill them up with other items. layer of plywood again. Take the roof sides off the tops. Them, bonnets, doors will pack pretty flat. Maybe have a trailer for all the tires and rims. I could then cross back into Maine and drive back to Colorado.
:D

If you guys are driving from Maine to CO, you might have to stop in Ft Wayne and Des Moines :)
It was only two easy days from Des Moines to Burlington VT....towing the 109

No, been pretty busy with work and getting ready for the new kid. Spent the entire weekend landscaping and refinishing furniture.
