Cool. We plan on meeting at the volunteer fire station in fawnskin on the left side of the road as you travel east on hwy 18. Time will probably be 8 but we have not locked that down yet. I will be there early to do some fishing in Big Bear so I will be there at the correct time. I'm driving a camo 85 4runner with no doors or top. I'll post up the time when I find out for sure. See ya there. Dennis

I wouldn't mind making one last run up there before the desert wheelin' season kicks in. I'll have to see if the boss man has me workin this Sat. or not and let ya know Thurs., Fri at the latest.

lagrange151,
not to come off sounding like an a-hole but I take it you've never ran those trails before. These trails aren't extreme like the Hammers or anything but the 2 trails mentioned are the hardest one's around BB. So fullsized friendly? That's an open question, if your stock IFS then you're gonna have problems...just a warning.

A place to break off early? To do both these trails you better plan on all day due to trail traffic, mech. problems and whatnot. You could run one trail and then cut out or i'm sure someone in the group could point you in the right direction to find the hwy when you have to leave.

We've done both trails with 5 rigs in about 7 hrs before but there wasn't much traffic and no one broke anything.

We'll do JB first so there is a road that will take you straight back to BB as we head to Holcomb. It's a straight shot and real easy.

If it's a K5 it should be able to do JB as long as you have some clearance, otherwise you would more than likely end up with body damage. The last time I was on Holcomb I wouldn't want to take a fullsize on it, there were a few spots where the road has pretty much fallen away. You are more than welcome to try. :D

It doesn't look like it was any of our group. Only one guy was taking pictures/video and he was using a camera that used video tape. Thanks alot for asking though. Dennis
