Hey guys I was cruising the BRC website and noticed three Contribution methods or places, or whatever.

Here are what's listed, which is most effective, if any??

I want it to go where it is needed the most.
I want it to help the BRC Access Protection Efforts.
I want it to go to the Legal Action Fund.

At this point in time legal fees are going up and up, the GAGs have very deep pockets and we don't. I say donating to legal funds is the best way right now. Here's a prime example of the GAGs trying to wait us out with money:

I would just send them a check and let them determine where it is needed most.

Unfortunately there isn't a central point of contact for all things access. BRC is certainly worthwhile but if they aren't involved in a particular issue your donation may not help that issue. For example, our SWFWDA suit does not include BRC at this point so they haven't shared and we haven't asked for money for our suit. Most of the gags use "earthjustice" as their legal service and they are funded then by the appropriate group, of course at near limitless funding levels. Plus ej is funded separately from the same trusts that fund all the rest of the groups. That's an advantage we don't have so BRC has a fund, UFWDA has a fund, we have one in SWFWDA, etc.

I would suggest either pick an organization and then donate heavily with direction as to how you'd like to see it go and to which causes. Or, and this has been my choice, know who's fighting what and donate to specific funds as appropriate. It does dilute the funding though.
