I have a jeep with ford radius arms lengthened 10" on the front.
I'm considering the wristed arm and was wondering if anybody that has this mod has had any structural problems with the non wristed arm. it would seem that it would start carrying twice the load of keeping the caster correct. I will probably reinforce it any way but I was just curious.

Most wristed arms use a pin or bolt to support the arm when it's on the road. Rides just like stock.

I'm discussing the non wristed arms structual integrity, have any warped, tweaked, or bent while the wristed arm was not pinned during 4 wheeling?

Probably, I've seen them bend, when the other arm isn't wristed.:D Just plate it with one inch thick plate, then it should be ok:flipoff2:

That arm has to take twice the torque when truck is level, but doesn't have to "fight" the wristed arm when articulating, so it is probably about a wash.

haha i think that would add to much weight

It will be fine, it does add some more strain on it when th other is unpined but only a few people have bent them, and they were fully getting it on when it bent

I'd reinforce the nonwristed arm.
