Hey lance.. since i wasnt judging on sunday for most of the day.. i was takin pictures on my digital.. i have over 90 pics.. but im on dialup.. so theres no way im sending them over the net.. is there any other way of getting them to you short of sending you the memory card???

It's coverage like this that will really boost interest and entry level participation bringing 'new blood' into the sport.

I am hoping this first season's inaugural 'modified stock' sections of competition will be the thing that will really 'opens up' rock crawling and bring a whole new flood interest in competitions, in the same way that NASCAR popularized stock bodied oval track racing.

I'm also happy to see competitors taking more pride and sporting better looking rigs ... nice new paint job, BTW! :smokin:

I forget his name but he was kicking ass until Course #4 where he blew his passenger U-Joint then proceeded to blow his drivers U-Joint and somewhere in all that mess his pass knuckle cracked and he was done for the day.

well from first hand experience being the head judge on 6 where tara rolled.. BAD.. i thought it was never going to stop.. started at the top of the hill.. ended up landing 5 ft from where i was sitting due to a bad knee.. well i was at the bottom of the hill.. did 2 side way's rolls where the majorty of the damage came from.. and then went onto the lid on one rock and onto the tires backwards about 10 feet from the finish gate.. me and mike were yelling brakes trying to get her to stop the thing.....

your not the only one who wants to see video.. i saw it from the bottom.. and i wanna see it from the side..

I hate to say this but, Ron's line on that obstacles was way to far to the left, we did not expect anyone to try a go around to the left of that rock. If you are refering to the appearance of how close some of the people are to course at the bottom of that hill, it is an illusion created by the slope of the hill. That lower area was roped off with plenty of room. We are however looking for a better way to secure the borders. Does anyone have a good line on some of the road dividers that have the small tee on the top, strong yet flexable, and inexpensive.

I am in road construction and unfortunetley these road deviders are not all that cheap and get stolen all to often. You might be able to find a contractor in your area that has a bunch sitting around and you could borrow them for the weekend and I know there have got to be some places that would rent them in your area(try United Rentals) I know Grainger sells them for around $25 apiece and most places rent them for $1 a day so renting might be the way to go. The technical term for them are Delineator Posts. Hope that helps.

I wasn't there but Brian (Flashlightman) and Dennis (pushrod) from my club were and got some amazing shots! Next time all 3 (and more) of us will be getting shots from 3 different angles, Reno here we come ;)
