Bolt in, your springs will move the little that they are off. I've put Dodge ones in chevys and GM ones in a Dodge. Shock mounts are alittle diffrent, and the hubs a little diffrent, but inter changeable, up to 90

The Dodge springs are a little wider than the Chevy/GMC springs but they will still work together. Your bigger problem will be mating the brake lines since the Chevy lines run across the frame and drop to each wheel and the Dodge drops to a T on the axle which has a line going to each wheel.

Another thing I forgot is that stock Chevy wheels will not fit on a Dodge axle the center hole will not fit over the Dodge hub

so much depends on what year your dodge axle is
I have the early 90s dodge difs under my chev
i use the dodge brake lines, 1 per side just like the chevs
hubs look identical to me so not sure where that idea comes from
knuckles look to mount tierod higher then chev
mine has 1.5" thick brake rotors

89 and older Dodge have the large hub w/external lockout. 90-93 have a hub that looks like a GM 60 hub, they are slightly diffrent, but you can use them. Ford wheels will fit over the dodge hubs, and so will aftermaket wheels. Just think of it as trying to put stock F-150 wheels on a CJ. They have the same lug pattern, but the hole is smaller on the ford 1/2 ton wheels.

I have a Dodge 60 w/ the external mount hubs (I will be suign drive flanges actually) but I was not aware of that there was a difference in the I.D. of the wheels between chevy, Ford, and Dodge 1 ton wheels...

Good to know :)

BTW - here is the Dodge external hub setup on mine just for reference (a Selectro hub is pictured):

I have a ford RC 60 and also a '90 dodge D60. I want to put the dodge (knuckles out) on the ford RC60 so I can run 35 spline stubs and also use a 15" steel wheel. Do you guys see any problems? I thought the 15" wheel would be easier to fit on the dodge because of the ford's HUGE double piston brakes. Plus I can upgrade to 35 spline much easier.

Just a note, the dodge 35 spline inners are MUCH BIGGER than the ford shiat. The ford axles taper down and the dodge does not.

Dodge and Ford have bigger ID wheels than Chevy. The 14 bolt FF hubs are smaller than the Dana 60 FF hubs. I am not too sure about front axle applications.

Every 60 made before 1980 has tapered axles. Also the u-joint ears got bigger too. I was going to do the same thing, swap the outers. But got lazy and haven't even looked at the 60's in a few months.
