Well after running several forklift tanks of propane through the Zuk. And over 300 miles I have some numbers. I did remove the gas tank to make a hanger for the tank but while I was thinking of the design the MPG on the 1st tank was awful. Somewhere around in the 9’s. then the second tank was around 12 MPG.
Well I decided to take the tanks to Ace Hardware and have them filled so I would know exactly just how much propane was in there. You have to watch these guys because they don’t always fill them full.
Well much better, I yielded just over 17 MPG. Which is the same MPG as I was getting with the Weber carb. So bottom line all there is to compare is price because performance and things in general propane is much better. Here are some numbers ya’ll have been waiting for.
The tanks I’m using are 33# or 8gal forklift tanks. Which depending on the air temperature and surroundings the volume of propane can change daily. On one day I got 7.3gal in a tank and on another tank all I could get in there was 7.1gal. Ace charges 2.60gal and I can buy it at work from the forklift guy at 1.31gal so money wise I can save lots of money with using propane
