Beavis, u dont want to put this thing back on the road it is for parts only, the gal I got the truck from gave me the pink, I'll be damned if i can find it now. Parts only but you gotta take the whole thing asap. If it isn't gone by sunday I'm calling the wrecking yard to come and take it away. It hasn't been registered for about five years. plates are gone too.

no pink= no biggie :D I've gotten pinks without pinks.

Here is the procedure

walk into DMV
tell sob story about loosing pink after you bought it
they give you appropriate paperwork
Go back out to the car
You fill out last owners info, sign their name with your left hand
go back inside and wait in line
DONE!

This is a tried and true procedure. I have done this on a couple of ocasions.

And yes, (some) junkyards will take vehicles without paperwork.
