Okay, I got a great deal on a slightly used desert cooler radiator for a BB chevy and a tranny cooler for a superduty....
was wondering if anyone had ever tried to retrofit an electric fan setup off of another truck and what the results were?
I know it'd probably be easier to just get an aftermarket setup, but what's the fun in that?

but I didn't know what'd be "enough" cfms on a 350...
I've got the fan setup in the back yard in that Voyager I been trying to sell, kinda figured I might be able to use them somehow but didn't figure that a fan set up to cool a 3.0l would be even close enough to cool... even with the a/c off...

I'm running a Taurus fan on my tow rig.. 3-row radiator.. engine is a built IH 392 (406cid ~300hp/450lbs-ft).
After getting the engine broken in, the Taurus fan seems up to the job of keeping the engine cool, even pulling my rig on the trailer over mountain passes in Colorado and Utah in 100-deg summer heat.
