I done a search but didn`t find this answer,How much do i need to shorten the rear shaft and do a need to modify the gear stick?

If you're talking an FJ60 five speed (151?) you'll need a split transfer case. What year is your 45? I know Oz got them way later than the US, you might even have a split transfer.

I`ve got an 81 with the later T/case,I`m getting the 60s 5peed with the tranfer

the 5 speed will be longer then your early 4 speed. You will need to shorten the rear shaft. I believe the stick will also come through the floor slightly further back. Keep your transfercase output flanges, as these might be different on the 60 series case.

The H55 is ~4-5 inches longer than a 4 spd driveline.

So you'll need to sorten the rear and lengthen the front.

if you have a late-model 4-speed... it might. maybe. either it will or it won't. probably. maybe.
