I have a running 360 in my 76 that I don't need. It runs, but I think it is pretty worn. I have never driven with it on road, just to plow snow with. You can hear it run, as it is still in the truck, but not for long. I have never had any guages on it, I just check the oil and plow. I would call it a core, albeit maybe a good one, but still a core. It does not overheat though.
I will sell the engine as a long block, minus brackets, carb, distributor and h20 pump and misc. little stuff for an even $85.00. You can have the headers too.
The transmission and transfercase are also available.
