it depends on how you hook them up. I dont have too much experience running dual batteries but if you do it wrong bad stuff happens:nuke:

NO, I have the two in my junk already Two Optimas, its my buds rig, and I have them bout hoked up works great.

You would be much better off installing a 55 amp Ford selenoid between the two batteries. Hook the connect post to ign so when you turn the key on it connects the batteries. When ign if off only one battery can be discharged if you have a drain somwhere. When the engine is running both batteries are being charged. If you hook them up direct especially id one battery is lower than the other they will draw each other down ione at a time. The lower battery will drain the high one down and then visi versa until they are both dead. It takes some time for this to happen however. If it's a dail, you probably don't need to worry about it that much. If not, a couple weeks will be enough to kill them both.
