You know what I **DIG** about competitions? It separates all the shit-talk, brag-a-holic, oughta-do-well-cause-it-looks-hard-core right out... and puts a simple question down: how will THIS rig do relative to the other rigs THERE on THAT day.

Kudos to this guy for winning, and I don't care that his rig doesn't look hard-core. Aren't there enough folks worried about looks already?

The guy drove well, and his truck worked well. He didn't break and he didn't roll... and he WON. :cool: :grinpimp: :cool:

He started building that last year. Just laid it out in the garage and went for it. I think he did great. I also find it amuzing that people here are bagging on it for what it LOOKS like. I agree 100%, but you forgot to mention that no matter how amazing the rig, the driver still forms a *HUGE* part of the equation.

A couple of years ago I was wheeling in Florence Junction and we came across a small group of guys that included a brand-new Sniper. After watching the owner for a while, it was clear that he had very little wheeling experience...cool rig, but he definitely was NOT getting it!:flipoff2:

What I said to the Warden was that I did not drive on the rocks at 'Jergens'. I knew they were gonna get excited about that sooner or later. I drive on the rocks elsewhere though. THAT's what the cage is for... :flipoff2: :D

I never said anything about how his rig performed or anything about the driver. Obviously it works great and the driver does a great job also.
