im looking for front wagoneer springs to go on the front of a soa yj with 35" tires. ok nothing new here i know. the one website i found selling the rancho 2.5" wagoneer springs lists several different years. anyone know if there are differences and which would be preferrable for a mild spring-over yj. every post/article ive read states different specs on wagoneer springs particularly in terms of length. some say mount modification is nessecary some say the opposite. i live on a rock in the middle of the pacific so experimentation and redos can be costly.

I don't know years so much as type. The springs that I use (which I believe to be most popular) are the 7-leaf Waggy front springs. I run 'em both front and rear. Other flavors that aren't as flexy have a far lower leaf count. I wanna say late 70's (77-) to mid-80's??? Grands and regular waggy's

And it's not all 7-leaf springs either. It's the 47" 7-leafers that are good. These are also the springs that JC-Whitney offers, and people here have used the JC-Whitney's with good results too. Also, the Rancho 44044 springs are the lift version of those springs.

I'm still not 100% sure that ALL post-'76 (or whatever) waggies had 47" springs...
