I'm pulling together the parts to swap out the front leafs for coils on my '93 W350. This is my daily driver & tow rig. I've hated the harsh ride ever since I bought it. I had a '94 Ram 3500 4x4 & noticed how the shocks run through the fat coils. That's kinda how I wanna do this conversion. I've already done it on my Land Cruiser, no problems yet. I was wondering if any of you Mopar heads have done this conversion? It looks like I'll need to relocate my sway bar, go with a hysteer setup, box in the frame where the links will mount. Not sure if I wanna go with a 3 link or y link w/ track bar. Here's how I did my LC:

I'm not going to be any help with your link questions. I do have one question for you. Have you tried some skyjacker softrides? I know probably want something differnt and what not, but you mention this upgrade mearly for ride. I put some 2.5" skyjacker softride springs in the front of my 93 W250 CTD. This greatly improved the ride of my truck. My truck also has a kelderman air ride out back. With the combonation of the two my old first gen rides very comparable to my brothers 94. I also have a ruenel bumper(300#) on the front, and have wheeled the crap out the truck. They have settled little and ride great still after 50,000+ miles. Just some food for though for you.
Now back to your topic.

How much vertical separation are you running at the axle?
