Beanie 09-19-2005, 03:41 PM I'll be there again this year Kurt, no Friday night camp though, last day of the year for Military, so I'll be VERY busy I'm afraid.
dieselcruiserhead 09-19-2005, 03:46 PM Great it will be a good time this year, this time doing a little exporing with some of the new and different stuff in AF canyon...
fj40_rico 09-19-2005, 05:13 PM I should be there. My wife wants to go but it will depend on the grandparents watching the kids.

Saturday it is then... :D
Make sure to RSVP to Dre so we can get a good headcount. We will be doing something different than the last Pig Run (2 years ago up Miller Hill). I am thinking Mary Ellen Gulch (ever been up there?)
theferg 09-28-2005, 12:33 PM Any open seats for this ride...? I'm thinking about getting in on it, but i'm not bringing the cruiser for sure...

Piggies flop floppin', all around the world!
Apologies to Frank Zappa ("Titties and Beer")
Were there any flops on the east coast pig run??
Iron Goddess 10-02-2005, 09:07 PM This has to be the prettiest out-house pics ever...BK and I will must make our way out there!!! Is this where the event is normally held or does it shift from year to year?

Slowerthanu 10-02-2005, 11:05 PM well damn, I am sorry I missed it this year.
Rig is running terrible, police academy takes all my time and I just bought a damn house.
4x4Poet 10-03-2005, 12:00 AM hehe...
Looks like someone was showin' off...:grinpimp:
FJBen 10-03-2005, 07:30 AM Niiice...piggy flop...
only 1 pig on the pig run?
dieselcruiserhead 10-03-2005, 08:47 AM Yep sort of a bummer, FJ55's are sorta scarce around here. Kurt's actually got one but he couldn't find anyone to drive it and wanted to his 40 that runs and is dependable... It was a fun time.... Putting it on its side honestly didn't bother me at all and was sorta fun. Even though I have been dating my GF for about 3 1/2 years it was actually her first organized run (she's been out dozens of times for small little trips though). Her and FJ40_Rico's wife were both riding in the passenger side (the side that went over) so it was a little "freaky" for them. It was a super soft plop on the side, almost like slow motion, I honestly didn't think it'd go over but it did. Pushed it right back over and it fired right up and drove away fine.. Anyway it was bound to happen, I sort of feel like a right of passage with the FJ55, seems like anyone who's got one has it happen at some point... :)

For what I know it has been done in American Fork Canyon all 4 years. But all the trails are relatively close to eachother.

dieselcruiserhead 10-03-2005, 11:12 AM Actually we had it in the Uintahs last year but AF the year before... 3 years total... You are welcome to come. I secretly ran over to that outhouse and gave her a "whirl." 9000 feet in the fall, just beatuful. It was quite breathing, I can assure you :)
Beanie 10-03-2005, 04:12 PM I had a blast, much thanks and props go out to Kurt and Andre for putting this together every year. I have an abundance of new brush (and some slightly larger (ie:deep enough to leave gouges)) striping in my paint. Almost took off a side marker with a tree, and have a nice new ding on my passanger side rear corner from a dumb ass that wouldn't yeild so I had to back 1/4 mile uphill, and clipped a rock. But again, had an absolute blast.
(maybe if we get lucky Andre or Kurt will post up the video I sent them of Andre getting his pig out of the flop)
dieselcruiserhead 10-04-2005, 10:01 AM Good idea Sean, here you go:
Great video but not a lot involving the flop on it...
Where it sits when the video starts is right after it was pushed over...

cruiseroutfit 10-04-2005, 11:18 AM Thanks to all those that made it out, what a blast... Andre humored us all.
I will have some pics and a breif report up on the site soon...
PS!!! I Forgot, I have some SWEET Pig Run Stickers that I was given for all of you... Make sure to hook up with me (or send a SASE :D) so I can get them to you!
Goldilocks 10-04-2005, 09:35 PM Damn! Sorry I missed this one. Are you guys going to save the good stuff for Toyota Trails? :D
