I am posting this here because no one knows in the newbie forum.

is there any trick to removing a distributor in a L-134 motor from a 1948 cj2a?

The dist. turns free of the motor and will not come out. I have removed the clamp adjuster bolt, and the clamp-to-block bolt. I still will not come out or turn.
