did you use your tie rod for a tow point? looks like you had a strap around it (clean mark in the middle).

crawling through a v-rock the pressure on the sides of the tires bowed it in. It didn't hurt that I was trying to steer into the rock as well. I run the stocker toy tie rod bars as I'd rather have that go than the studs on the knuckle.

Glad to see your still on the trail Tyler. You've been awful quiet lately. BTW, Did you put a "pirate patch" over your other tail light?

Funny you should ask about the tail lights heh, I actually found a 16v; brent's working on my harness and all the electrical is getting re-done durning the swap. I'll actually have tunes! working brake, turn, and ultra mega bright reverse lights.
That beefy cross-over arm is the shiznitt! When are you guys planning your next run? now that I've moved back to town :D

Your rig sounds like it is really getting a workover. Where did you come up with the 16v? How many miles on it?

We are talking about the Hammers in March or April, or possibly Moab in April May. Might do a snow run at some point, but it is all just talk at this point.

I went out with tbone420 and loosey this year once after my Moab trip, that was all. Scwafish sold his rig, but he is talking about wheeling again, since his oldest is getting near enough to driving age that wheeling will be on his mind soon.

Glad to hear you are back in town. Are you in Healdsdburg or Windsor? I am helping a kid from Windsor build up a rig right now. Going to Yotas, s/r, frame extension, YJ's, etc after I get back from critter hunbting in Wyoming.

Stop by some time. I'd like to see you and your rig.

Hey George, found the 16v at pick n pull in a 94 2wd sidekick. Has 100,000 miles on it about. Harness is getting done right now, so I hope to drop it in soon. A trip to either the hammers or moab would be awsome, keep me updated when we get closer. Scwa sold his rig huh? whats up with that? he'll need a new project soon. Living back in healdsburg now at my folks house, just workin and putting the final touches on my rig, will stop by when I have the motor in and all the electrical done, will be a little bit more street worthy.
