i am lookin for a jacket to wear when riding. i live in the mountains so it is cold and all that. i will be on a XR650 so i prolly will see some rain on occasion. i have been lookin at the Joe rocket ballistic jacket and a few from Icon. whats everyones thoughts on these.

I have off road gear i am lookin for something when i ride to work and back which is about 10 miles in the mountains i checked out the Icon Timax jacket. also the Jor rocket ballistic both i can pick up for fairly reasonable from ebay.

I have a Thor (last year's) .. water proof, and has a vest liner that is removeable. Worn it riding in the worst of weather (Oregon) and it's held up beautifully! I have stayed bone dry..
