Toyota drivetrain swap

Im going to be swaping a complete Toy drivetrain into my Zuk buggy project. Im looking for any info on the swap, pics, and probs that you have encountered.

Its getting a 22re-auto or 5 spd.(have both and havent decided)-Toy case+D300-Toy axles F & R-4 link F & R-100" WB-Scout box w/ hydro assist.

Any help will be much appreciated.

P.S. I found a plate for a shaved toy axle and now I cant find it. Do you know where I can find one?

shaving the rear is easy just cut it open and do it. 1/4" plate to redue the hole. Google Roger brown I think we sold what you need, and has hte right up. as far as the Toy swap not to much here on the motor, all axle info is at the top of the page in the faq section.

I just missed a TURBO Yoda with a blown head gasket (they think) WITH an extra turbo and 80% 35 swampers for $1000 LOCAL!!!!!! :( :rasta: :(

I am doing close to the same thing, i went with a 22r-5speed and a toy 5to1 t case with dana axles. I bought the RRO coil kit then stretched the wheelbase to 103. I am going to run full hydro too. I can send you some pics if you want. I also have some toy axles if need them. I bought both but went with the dana's. All of the fab work is done, now i am painting everything for the final assembly.

Second, are you seriously molesting That sami you bought from Justin... What are you doing with the Fuel injected motor???

Im puting the FI 1.3 in my 88 sami. That poor things got rods knocking to beat hell.

When you going to bring your sami to the shop so I can see it. Or do you still have it?

Yep, still got hte Sami.. Been out a few times this year. It's got a few issues I can't seem to get figured out (Just not time to work on it). And, the Tube for the cage has been sitting in the shop since last december...

So, Are you tubing this one completely, or are you keeping the Body (Mostly)..

Frame and frount clip is still going to be sami and the rest is going to be tube. Im building it to UROC specs. so I can compete.(Ifn I want to :evil: ) But for the most part I want a trail rig that I dont need to worry about.

You know "Let the fat rabbit have it" and it hold together. Oh wait 2.5, NV4500, Atlas II, and 60s and I still broke it.
