Are there any OD units that have 3 gear ratio's?

ex. 1:1, 2:1 ,3:1?

Just wondering.. or could you put 2 together and produce the same effect?

Yes, however your example is just a 3 speed tranny, no overdrive listed.

The spicer 5831 auxiliary transmission (brownie) has 3 speeds and an overdrive (on most models).

One of the models listed there (I forget the suffix) has a 2:1 underdrive, 1:1 direct drive, and 0.73:1 overdrive. I think that would be the best all around unit, and it would add an extra crawler gear as well as OD.

You could also put this behind an OD transmission to get double OD. Interesting combos would be pretty easy to do.

Ditto on the 5831--if you have the beans to pull the gears--then get the direct model and install it backwards with cable shift--it would surely be a long legged dog--if this is going in a 4x it will need to be long long w/b as there are no privisions to do anything but remote mount it.
