the shortest route appears to be US 6 out of Spanish Fork down to Green River. That may be the shortest, but how is it for towing? Would I be better off to stick to I-15 and cut over to I-70 on US 50?

though I've haven't driven through Utah since 88, that route certaintly (sp) looks scenic. Esp. between Spanish fork and Price. After that it doesn't look too bad.

That route is decent. That's the way I came back from RMIRH last year. Some road construction but relatively straight.

HIghway 6 ~ that's it. Go that way, I use it everytime I drive from Tahoe to CO.

I've towed that route many times. It's hilly, but not bad at all, and a shortcut. :D

Don't speed - plenty of signs talking about stepped up enforcement.. too many folks in a hurry on the 2-lane. ;)

Ask around if you can, though - I thought I remembered hearing there was a truck accident recently, involving explosives, and a chunk of the road missing..

Dude, I just remembered, that was the stretch of road I got my mom's Accord to over 120mph. I beat it a little later in an Audi turbo going 145. :D :D :D The 145 trip was the same trip my then girlfriend and I worked out some differences and decided to get married!

Good road, good memories. Each time I hit the hill I got the accord to over 120 I gun it for old-times sakes. To bad they are steppin' up enforcement ~ couldn't amagine why!

Sitting in Salt Lake now. Ah.. the Great Salt Lake.... a very pretty, yet otherwiser fairly worthless body of water.

Need to find a parts store or a Wal-Mart or something like that along my path to pick up some rearveiw mirror adhesive to glue my mirror back on the windshield.
