Will a 5 spd tranny out of a SR5 pickup fit into a 76 FJ40? I tried searching, but didn't get anything, so I figured I'd ask if anyone's done this before?

If you are asking if it will mate to a 2F engine, the answer is no. Also, it would have a hard time with the weight of a Cruiser.

You need to look for a Toyota Non-USA 5 speed (H55) of an NV4500 (GM or Mopar) if you want a 5 speed.

is the supra 5 speed a better trany ??
