Quick, I need to find out if some hard lines I can get from an 8.8 will work on the 8.8 that I have going in on the 30th of this month, I need a measurement from the backing plate/dust shield on the back of the rotor, from drivers side, to passenger side... anyone know it?

Hard lines? Do you mean brake lines? If that's what you mean you've got to be kidding. That's not a tech question. Take five minutes out of your busy day and hold your tape measure up to the axle. Then write the lengths you need down on a little piece of paper and go buy some hardline at the parts store.

Paul, it is a tech question, if the axle is more than 100 miles away from you, and you can't get down there to measure.. LOL... Anyway.. I think I got it figured out :)
