got me some 33" extended length front shocks (without the vetical post, ie.. factory YJ's)
so i'm going to modify my factory shock tower, i taking the mount point up about 3" higher than stock, and found some brackets that MORE makes, will probable make something similiar.....
any better ideas?

maybe use some ford shock towers...that is what everyone else uses...do a search for it and you find pics and pn#'s..;)

Man if ya need any dimensions off the MORE mounts i have a set at the house, waiting for my SOA to install them. Just let me know!

I just did some ford's on my buddys YJ yesterday... really easy, and allows for some huge shocks.. we cut the old shock mount to fit the ford and allow for it to be an upper support.

i check out the some pics of the ford towers and called the local dealer with the part # (E5TZ-18183-A) and the said $11.20 plus tax, and they don't have them (i thought of course) then said can get them hear this afternoon.
like i read, you can't build these for that price.
here's a pic, will install next week :)

H8monday put the Ford shock mounts on his YJ a while back.
I saw them on the Dusy when he went with us. Very slick looking
way to go. Maybe he'll see this post and put up a pic.
