Just finished talking to a buddy about an soa im planning to do. He believes that there is a stock cherokee steering component that attaches to the Dana 30 knuckle that allows for the steering to clear the spring. I asked for details but he had none. Has anyone heard of this. What part is he talking about?
Is that the WJ knuckle conversion?

To be honest with you, I know very little about this converstion. If there is a way that this can be done with a wj im in. Any links info on how to do this, or maybe some links.

If you are going to run tires bigger than 33's it's time for a D44 anyway.

No doubt on the 44, already broke the 30 two times in as many years (u-joints and outer shafts...) But for now cash is spread a bit thin so I am gonna make the 30 work- already got some tj shafts coming... cheap. So the only thing left is an inexpensive steering solution. I have to run the 30 for this year, as I have other financial obligations to attend to (fuck being a grown up sucks).
