I've got a 86 jeep commanche with a 2.5 and t4 and I can't get any clutch pedal.
1st I replaced the slave cylinder with a reman from advance. Bleed lines and no clutch.
2nd I replaced master clutch cylinder, bleed the lines and no clutch.
3rd I replaced clutch, pp, and release bearing, still no clutch.

When I bleed the lines I'm not feeling any pressure at the pedal or any really good blowout at the slave bleeder valve. Fluid does come out of the slave bleeder but with no force.

Is it possible I got a bad slave cylinder? Any ideas or suggestions?
How hard should the slave be to push in? I've had it out and can push it in by hand.

What is the correct way to bleed the clutch master and the slave cylinders?

i only ever did one hydraulic clutch, we bled the lines and pedal was to the floor. so i had him manually pull he pedal back up and push it down while i was bleeding the line, then it worked. i never mess with hydraulic clutches if i dont have to, they are just a waste of brake fluid

some hyd clutches are easier than others to bleed but alot of manufacturers know it, thats why they only sell the slave master an line as a PRE bled assembly...why did you replace the clutch assembly, i know its spilled milk now but... when you say you replaced the slave cylinder are you refering to one that bolts to the side of the bellhousing or is yours t/o bearing mounted...
as for the correct method its the same as bleeding brakes but from experience i have had seemingly unrelated things have mad it bleed better 1st bench bleed the clutch ms second experiment with bleeding it w/ the resivior cap on and off, third with a large supply of fluid open the bleader screw on the ss and let it gravity bleed for a few minutes and lastly makesure the pedal is pushing the ms enough and the the rod is the right length

Its the external slave on the outside of the bell housing. I didn't bench the master. I didn't think about that because its just a small cup. All parts should be right because I'm just replacing factory stuff. I hate to but I guess I could pull the master back off and bench it. I went and got another slave and now I have better "pressure" blow out at the slave when I try bleeding it. Maybe I just need to bleed it some more.
