I scored a 50"x9" Oxygen tank for my house's oxy/acet setup now I need an acetylene tank. Give me an idea of what I will need for an acetylene tank sizewise.
My first major project with it will be cleaning off IFS components on my frame, body mounts, motor mounts, etc. in full SAS prep. Later on I might use it to fabricate bumpers or skidplates but I don't really know how much I will use it. I imagine it will be used much more than I am predicting...
Also, I would like to buy a cylinder for shielding gas for welding and I need tips on what size tank I should get.
I will be buying a miller 175 or hobart 180 or equivalent. In prep for my SAS I will need to fabricate spring hangers, crossmembers, motor mounts, etc. So I know at least for the next month or two it will get a ton of use.
let me know if there are any other variables in choosing a tank size
