I've got the opportunity to get a free mitsubishi mighty max. AKA Dodge d50. All I know is that the timing belt broke and bent some valves. It has a new timing belt, water pump, and thermostat. It is running...on three cylinders. :D oh and 237,000 miles. I was contemplating getting and repairing the engine and making a cheapo buggy. So my question is, what type of transmission is in it? And transfer case? It's got a 3.0v6 and is 4wd. 5speed. Would the tranny and transfer cases be able to hold up to 33-36" abuse? I've searched all over google but they aren't exactly the most popular trucks. Thanks for your help.
