It is actually fairly easy to do. Do it over the course of the weekend with a buddy or two....it would be a good way to 1. gain confidence in using handtools and working on your Jeep 2. save you some cash.

1) invite buddies over
2) Bribe them with beer
3) Fumble about your jeep till they feel sorry for u and install suspension for you :shaking:
4)realize how dumb it looks with stock tires realize that you are glad you didnt pay someone to install the suspension
5) go buy bigger tires
6) drive now gutless jeep :flipoff2:

I dont mean to do it today, but since i never install any suspension before, i want to pay someone to do it for me while i can learn the process. Do i really need to install the suspension first before ordering the CV sharft?

It is a good idea to install the kit yourself. If for some reason you break on the trail you will have some kind of knowledge on how to fix it and still get home. It is also a good idea to install the kit first and then order the shaft.

What do you think you are doing ? Why would you come to the place where everybody fixes their own junk and ask a question like this, use the Damn phone book and find a mechanic in your area...

Hell go to the vendors section look for a fab shop where you live..

Hell go to Google and Google Fab shops in the Bay area...

this is exactly the kind of thing you need to ask at jeeps unlimited (www.jeepsunlimited.com), or about a million other Jeep related BB's on the net. Your in Cali? There has got to be, what, eleventy billion and two Jeep clubs within 35 miles. Join one, have a "wrenching party".

Pirate4X4 isnt here for this sort of thing.

Buy a few books and learn how to do these things for yourself, it isnt difficult at all.

IMO if you can't install a lift kit then you don't need to be driving a lifted vehicle. if you can read you should be able to do it yourself.
