Oh yeah, him & Buddy seem to enjoying the vagabond lifestyle. I arrived up there at 10 pm Sunday night and we left around 8:30 the next morning. Couldn't ask for a more perfect day. My truck was burning lean throughout the day, but manage to idle. Mechanos was still burning off a little oil from the 'con roll. It took a little over three hours to make the city. At French Creek, I hung up on a rock, (Buddy was spotting), winched out, and slipped the front buggy spring out of it's mount held us up for repairs. French Creek also took out my rear brake line.
Mechanos didn't have WiFi connections in Frisco, but I suspect we will be hearing from him soon. :smokin:

Hangin' at my bro's house in Highlands Ranch for the evening. I'll resize some pics and post them up when I get home. I managed to make the whole run up and back down without ANY new body damage and NO mechanical breakdowns at all. This amazed me since CopperCowboy jinxed me by asking me when I was going to break down much the same way that I jinxed Josh on the Rubicon run. All was good though... and as was stated, we couldn't have had a better day. It was sunshine and t-shirts all day up the trail and back down. The highlight of the Holy Cross trip for me was the Minturn police SUV parked on the north side of town off of US 24 with a mannequin sitting in the drivers seat. I wish I would have stopped and got a picture of it..... too damn funny.

Naw, let them wheel their desk chairs. Took alot of pics, mostly scenery. It's mind blowing when you think about the mining operation and lifestyle them 'ol timers had up there. Plus, the trail up had a pucker factor of 8. I'm definately looking into taller tires, fuel injection, and maybe an OX locker. Not bad for her maiden voyage. The winches got broke out 3 times, all for me! Red Dog didn't like the climb down to much. :smokin:
