I'm kicking around the idea of using a C6 / KluneV / NP205 combo in an Early Bronco. Does anyone know how long this combo would be?
I'm going to run a HP Dana 60 rear and move my rear axle back 4-6" and I'm wondering how it would fit.

I think the C-6 is about 18.5" and the Klune is about 6.5" and the np205 is 12.5" but are there any adapters or anything else in there?

that would be really sweet. I'm looking into tcase options for my EB. Even the C6 to 205 without the Klune is pretty long, I'd imagine with the Klune and the extended wheelbase you'd have a VERY short driveshaft. I don't have any exact numbers though, if it works it would be a very viable solution.

Well I'll answer my own post in case anyone else is interested.
The lengths are:
20" C6
14" NP205
7.5" Klune V and adapter
5.75" Stock Adapter
47.25" Total
So it should work fine in an EB especially after I move the rear axle back 4" and use the RC60.

That would rock, but with a auto tranny having a constant load/push on it, allong with all the low gear reduction, your ether gunna have hard time(s) stopping or break something while trying to stop... Its like if you had the same reduction setup in a rig with a manual, had the clutch 50% on, and held the brakes, soon engough ether your clutch would die or you'd blow a joint, snap a shaft, or whatever... Im just writing this in "theory"
I have an 85 ranger with a C5 and a 2.9l EFI V6, stock t-case and i am planning on running a devorsed fullsize tcase for dubler, but ive been thinking about the constant load/push the auto trannys have.

just stop in neutral if you're in extreme low.

There are quite a few people out there with 700R4 and an atlas as well as cold duck setups with autos and they seem to do ok. I'm going to use the 2.7 Goliath Klune V so it will only be 2.7 x 2 + 5.4 reduction.
In fact I got some info from Greg Miller from Klune V and he said he runs a 700r4 / Klune V / NP205 and loves it.
