what's a good cruiser for a tall guy?

I've never owned a bike before and would like a cruiser. I figured out a cheap bike would pay itself off with saved fuel for my truck. But I'm 6 foot 7. Most bikes I sit on are built for the average person.

Any pointers?

I feel your pain. I am just as big ,but most likely heavier. I guess you have to ask yourself what you want it to do. if its just a road bike or a enduro. I would say the Vulcans or drifters are nice and are resonablly priced. the enduro side could lead you to a bunch of bikes. but its a matter of power vs seating. you are too new at this to give you a ton of power offroad. so choose wisely.
