: How to set up dual batteries in YJ??? AZ94YJScott 03-14-2002, 03:27 PM My battery cables are toasted and I want to set up dual batteries. Does anyone know how to make a clean set up. I dont want to have to buy a kit, and I dont want to use those crappy connectors from autozone where you bolt in the wires. Help me out. I went with a 200 amp solenoid to isolate the batteries and I upgraded the alternator to a 160 amp. Some Jeeps came with a 117 amp and you may not need to upgrade.
