: 32-spline output shafts for the D300

A quick search seems to indicate that the JB 32-spline front output shaft is the one to go with. I know the Tera rear 32-spline output shaft is not a direct replacement on the Scout case without some mods to the case. I seem to remember that there was a short tailshaft 32-spline output that was a direct fit to the Scout 300. Anyone recall which one it is? AA?

Nothing yet...

I'm just planning the next phase of the build. When I have the case apart to install my 4:1 gear set, I was thinking about upgrading the front and rear output shafts at the same time. Just trying to beef it up.

I don't know how many more wheelies the stock output shafts have in them. :flipoff2:

The 1980 & 81 Jeep Dana 300 has the same short shaft as the Scout Dana 300.

Find the HD output thread I think I started when I was doing my Tera Output, I'm pretty sure someone mentioned the no-mod required unit in there... and AA sounds right.

Or just Mod the case like I did... not *that* tough...

How did you mod the case..... the pics in that old thread aren't working any more.

The Advanced Adapters is a direct fit to the Scout D300. Also, it works with Jesse's transfer case ebrake setup. When all combined with a 1350 cv it makes for a really sweat rear driveline.

if you want the longer version of the 300 you need the 82-86 yrs.
