need to know the best way do it.
do i just cut the ends off and weld on new housing ends on ?
or grind the inner tube weld off and pull the tube then cut , put back in and weld it or what? :smokin: :confused:

I know the guys up here use some sort of jig to line things up. I haven't seen it though. They use it for putting 9" ends on dana 60's.

I made alignment disks w/ a 1.5" id to fit in place of the 2 carrier bearings and the axle bearing, then slide some 1.5" tube inside.
Thanks for all the info guys i now have a narrowed to Eb width front and rear axle.
actually the rear is 60 wms-wms and front is like 59.5 wms-wms is that bad :eek:
