among all of my projects, oba, arb etc. my freakin turn signal lever has gone limp, no turn signals whatsover. it just flops loosely.Does anyone know what broke?
I dont want to tear it all down and the find the part, I'd rather identify it and pick one up beforehand.

You can take it apart and get the broken piece out and reasssemble to go get the correct part ....it only takes about 10 minutes.

What year jeep? Standard GM type column? If so, you need to buy a turn sig assy. Comes with the wires too. You have to pull the wheel, remove the wheel lock ring, then you can unscrew the switch assy and pull the wires up through the column. Assy is around 60 bucks......

it's a 94, I need the compression thing (haveta rent 1) to get the locking ring out, its a bitch so I dont want to pull it apart and put it back together so I can take it apart again l8r.

this might sound silly, but did you check all the bulbs? if they aren't working, the circuit won't complete and the signal will appear broken. i made this mistake once and freaked out looking for a fix, then noticed it was just the bulb. replaced it, and everything worked again.

What he said. I did it without the first time. Helped to have an extra pair of hands but it's doable.

The next day I spotted the lock ring compressor on sale for $5. The next time I pulled the column apart it took me less than half the time. Hardest part is getting the new harness fished through the column.

I got your Email, check yours. I have it in stock. Keith's paying too much:flipoff2: If you want to bring it by. I'll try to remember my compression deal. I can help you even if I forget my tool thingie. I could always make another one in about 5 minutes too.
