cruiser guy 10-01-2005, 06:56 AM 2nd in line on floor mats.
nuclearlemon 10-01-2005, 08:41 AM does it have the funky ass boxy looking reverse lights? i need a left lens at least, but will gladly take both. also need lower front right door hinge assy if the stay pin is in good shape. how about a column mounted ign switch with key?

mr_manny 10-01-2005, 09:38 AM steering column ?
in 72, is the steering box and column one piece?

orangefj45 10-01-2005, 09:41 AM steering box, driver's door regulator, dome light [for Gene],front floormat. Thanks. See you at the Hammers!
i want these parts to go to happy homes, not to be resold. lemme know what you need and for whom. i doubt gene would want this dome light.....
Stupid frnch jackasS 10-01-2005, 09:47 AM I could use some wide-cut rear wheelarches and the front side vent if those are the open style. I think I might need the drivers side vent linkage as well and the drivers door handle if its the same style as mine.
EDIT : I may need the upper dash foamy part if it's the same as a '79... anybody knows ?
Early planning for a project that will take me forever to complete, as usual :grinpimp:
Stupid frnch jackasS 10-01-2005, 09:49 AM It looks like it has potential to be be a nice driver though :(
orangefj45 10-01-2005, 09:53 AM 2nd in line on floor mats.
no floor mats, but the rubber mat is in good shape if somebody wants it.
orangefj45 10-01-2005, 10:04 AM does it have the funky ass boxy looking reverse lights? i need a left lens at least, but will gladly take both. also need lower front right door hinge assy if the stay pin is in good shape. how about a column mounted ign switch with key?
it's got 2 small independant reverse lights. they're intact and i can pull em off for you.
i think i'm gonna try to sell the doors as a set, but i'll keep you in mind on the hinge.
the ignition switch is in the dash, but i do have the key for it.
orangefj45 10-01-2005, 10:04 AM emblems???
the front fender emblems are spoken for, but the tail gate stuff is available....
orangefj45 10-01-2005, 10:05 AM steering column ?

cruiserbrett 10-01-2005, 08:00 PM oh yeah, the dash pad is for early years only. If you got it out in one piece I would be interested in it.
orangefj45 10-01-2005, 08:04 PM i'll rip the dash apart tomorrow. carefully, i promise.
tailgate went to steve, who bought my other 55. he broke the glass in it so i gave him the complete tailgate to tear apart. along with an alternator, sm465 with bell housing, .........:grinpimp:

65SWB45 10-02-2005, 06:38 PM want this for our "FOTR program"?!
That'll work Georg. As far as the other stuff, the floor mat/rubber mat would be for me, the other stuff would be spec, so if you find a better home, you know what to do.
Don't forget to bring down that CD you were gonna burn for me to JV this weekend. :cool2:
orangefj45 10-02-2005, 06:41 PM so is the floor mat unobtanium?!

sorry i did'nt get back to you earlier ige. the backup lights are'nt in that great a shape and from what i gather, the bolt pattern is different.
Pygpen 10-03-2005, 06:09 AM No problem, I'm at work untill 4, home at 5PM. You could back up onto the lawn alongside the driveway and just roll it out for a soft landing. I can move it when I get home. Do me a favor and warn Kim though, no telling what she might do seeing a long-hair driving across the lawn.

Me: "No sweetheart - I'll take care of it when I get home"
65SWB45 10-04-2005, 04:48 PM so is the floor mat unobtanium?!
Don't know, cause I don't deal a lot in fj55 parts, but if I had to guess, I would say prolly so.
The straight scoop here is that the floormat in my 45 doesn't have ANY shifter holes in it, and when I do the 4 speed tranny swap this winter, I would prefer not to cut into my mat, but rather to work with one from a FJ55 that already has the holes in it. Same reason I picked up that other tranny tunnel for the project.
Not sure it will work but, for the price, I figured I would take a shot at it. I think I can make it work. Fair enough?
DHONDAGOD 10-04-2005, 05:01 PM george you coming down this weekend? you riding with me? call me when you get a chance..
