i'm currently converting my rear to coils, thinking about where to mount the rear shocks, since the floor and shock crossmember is cut right out the possiblitilies are endless, options are, forward of axle, rear of axle, top of axle, and top of shock pointing inward (torward each other) pointing to the front of truck or rear of truck, I want the least amount of bind with the most travell.
Check out my pics so far of the build up, front suspension is done, still working on the steering, project cherokee (photos.yahoo.com/petehamann)
thanks for any input.

Nice XJ but I'd hardly call it a monster XJ. Anywaus I'd prob. mount the shocke dirrectly above the axel in an inverted "V"(pointing at each other). You can do the math with you sitting hieght and maxdrop artic. and figure the angel they need to be mounted at. I'll have the "MONSTER XJ" when I finish my project! 2.5ton Rockwells, Coil 4 lint F&R, 44's or 47's! :flipoff2: :flipoff2: Good luck
