: 1968 chev. 3/4 ton 4" lift

:confused: i have been looking for a 4" lift for my 68 chev 3/4 ton 4x4, the only thing i can find is for 69-72. does any place out their have a kit for this year, or how can i adapt one to it? thanks

The reason most say 69'-72' is because of the different steering arm.The springs are the same.Skyjacker lists them for 67'-72'.They are what I got for my 67' and what my brother got for his 67'.They ride good too.

I'm very happy with my skyjacker springs. Just make sure you get the "softride" springs if there is an option...

do you know if the 67-72 and the 73-87 springs are the same. I'm looking to get some 8in springs from the 73-87 kit. They're going on a 65 chevy with a 78 front end. thanks

The 73-87 ones are a little longer but will work on the 67-72 if you move the front spring hanger forward 1 rivet hole and drill a new front one.It would be a benifit to use a little longer shackle as well. I had a set on mine for a few days untill I relized they were just a little long and made the spring hit the frame at the shackle under compression.I'm also courious about what will fit the 60-66 trucks because it looks like I'm going to be building one once my 67 is finished:cool2: .
