This is a stock 85 CJ7 20 gallon poly tank.
Does anyone run this tank with a rear Dana60? Im thinking I might have to switch tanks because of lack of clearence between the two. The suspension will be SOA with springs that are maybe 1.5" lift over stock.
Anyone been down this path?

I'm running 5 inch National leaves on an '83 CJ-7 and the Model 20 back there is rubbing the paint off the front of my stock 20 gal. tank skid in a vertical line as it is.
There's not much room ...

that is another reason i like the smaller tanks for trail rigs. the other is they don't hang down as far. slap the 60 in and see. it can't hurt. if it hits you can do like a guy i know and just let it "self-clearance" the tank skid. good luck!

I have a dynatrac reverse cut 60 and the stock 20 gallon tank and SOA with 2.5 inch springs and i do not have a problem. Brad Kilby is introducing his CJ gas tank skid and i will be doing a product reveiw on it for another Jeep site. i will see how it compares to the stock skid in terms of clearence.
