Mike, dont you find it odd that he was so adamint about you not opening the package? Do you want to know why he was? Because when the package was sent, that was the ultimatum given...... ship the fucking package. He believed that by showing a valid tracking number with a weight consistent of what a gearset would be, he would have "proof" that he upheld his end of the bargin. I can almost gurrantee that inside that package was either a completely bad gear set or a brick or some rocks. something to validate his claim of the package being shipped and delivered as promised. At that point it would be his word against yours when it came to the contents and or their condition. this is sufficient to save his ass from mail fraud investigators as the burden of proof is up to them to show he didnt send what was promised. Only when he realized that this board and its more devoted guests would go further than any mail fraud investigator and that his word means nothing to those not bound by laws, rules of procedure and protocol did he understand that he and his buddies normal games wouldnt cut it. at this time he probably also realized that if you opened that package and saw a brick in it (like i did) the shit would hit the proverbial fan. so his only choice was to hopefully prevent you from opening it by promise of a monetary refund. It apparently worked and now you have your money. the check will most likey clear. he has plenty of money.

i just wanted to make you aware that the shit goes way deeper than many realize. i have my own personal beef with this kid and I didnt even know it until this thread. he fucked me over on a deal via a buddy of his. It only now makes sense after all his info has come out what actually happened. Mr. wenzel used his friends paypal account to screw me over (his was probably locked at the time for ripping someone else off) using a method very similar to what i described above. his day will come, i now have all the info i didnt before. charlie, you are fucked when i find the time and energy to deal with you. He is clueless, both in his missing sense of culpability and his blindness to his very obvious and transparent duplicity.

How many Charlie Wenzels were weaned on MTV, Hollywood fantasies, cable TV, video games, nihilistic popular music, and then never matured past childhood in the sheltered halcyon community of the parents? Parents who actually have a comfortable income, as opposed to most of the parents in our world. How many 'American' Charlies like this are out there, Oh, my country?!!!

As well, his sense of immunity from consequences is dangerous to both himself, and those connected with him. He has no realization that there are folks who would do him, and those with him, great harm for far less cause than his little escapade. Dad needs to go into his room tonight and grab him by the throat, stick a pistol in his mouth, and tell him he is going down to the Marine recruiter tommorrow to enlist or he will visit him again tommorow night. That is the only thing that will fix Charlie at this point. Maybe a stint in adult jail for mail fraud might wake him up, but Dad would hire an attorney because Mommy would make his life hell if he didn't. Who is this not obvious to?

You might not have intended on screwing anyone in the beginning, but the fact of the matter is that you did. That happens occasionally in business transactions. The only thing to do when this happens, as the seller, it is your job to do everything in your power, even if it means complete and total loss, to make it right. Even if you lose the gears and the money that's only what $240 worth? Many homeless people would give that up to keep their name clear. I'm sure you are better than a homeless person, I would hope anyway.

At this time if I were in your shoes, I would be willing to drop $5K to make this right, even if I had to sell my only vehicle and ride a bike for a while to recover. I would make this right one way or the other.

Go to it, and get the front and back of the 'T' designed and get someone with mfg facilities and a distrubution system to DO DA DEED, BRUDDA!! Get 'er done, son. ;~`)

This thread has gone incredibly far, in a matter of just a few days. do you realize how much further its going to go? It could fuck up his and his family's lives completely. it needs to be stopped.
