My buddy and I are in the process of putting his new motor in his 91 Suburban 2500 and we are having a hell of a time figuring out the routing of the vacuum lines. Anyone got a book out there that will tell us, WTF we are doing wrong?

help!

I am assuming your are installing a TBI V8. Their actually quite easy, Just installed a 350 in my 96 G30 Van. The TBI Vacuums in front go to
the PCV Valce. The next middle size vacuum goes to the Canister Box. The Small size vacuum goes to the inlet of the EGR Valve Solinoid. The rear TBI Vacuum goes to the MAP Sensor. The final outlet from the EGR Valve Solinoid goes to the EGR Valve. Hope that helps.

My buddy is a lazy bastard :flipoff2: the burb has been sitting there for months waiting to be put back together. I haven't actually messed with the vacuum yet, but will either tonight or tomorrow. If I can't figure it out, I go get the book and scan/post the diagram.

I have a '90 Burb, coyote is correct. There are even MORE vacuum lines on the firewall though, but you probabaly didnt take those off. Theres a big one and a small one going to the thingy sitting behind the drivers side valve cover...

I'm in the process of putting my friends '90 Burb back together righ now too. Its a mild 383 with stock TBI. The cat and muffler are too long so I cant exit the exhaust in front of the rear wheel like we planned. :(
