What have you 1.6ers used for Power Steering? I can't find a celica kit for 1.6s. I need the serpentine pump pulley. Did anybody settle for the sidekick setup and using it w/ 33 boggers? Let me know guys- I'm ready to put in the PS, just want an easy job of it that can handle future axle/ tire growth.

I used the kick pump and toy box. 1 custom hose for $30 and I was done. (made the plate myself)

Hey JC, don't you have an IFS (leaky) gearbox on hand? I think Chris V. 'splained how to go through the gearbox. Making a plate for it is well within your capabilities, and you could literally bolt on the 'Kick pump. A custom pressure line, and you're in Bid'ness.

Either that, or convert your pulley system over to V-belt & go the Celicia route. Hmmm.... I wonder which way will be cheaper?:rasta:

I wanted to use a kick pump on my 1.6 but couldnt find one for less than $300. I made a simple bracket combined with some oem toy parts from the bone yard to mount a Celica pump. Petro has a serpentine pulley for the celica pump, it is pricey @ $70, but that is the only expensive part, everything else is just metal or prom pnp. The whole setup was under $100. I have pics if someone wants to post em or get emailed.
