scottsdale 10-04-2005, 08:13 AM I was trying to achieve a 8 inch lift and was wondering if I could do a shackle flip then add 4 inch blocks to get the 8 inches and how safe would it be?Would there be any more safety concerns with the shackle flip,than just using blocks? My '97 2500 Dodge has a factory 4 3/4" block in the rear. The '93s had a true 6" block stock (not like the aftermarket " 6" " blocks that measure 5 1/2"). He asked if it was safe, not whether you liked it or not. I don't like blocks either, my Dodge has nasty axle wrap. But it will work.
