For those who use reels, what is your take on which style works best.

Curious to see what everyones opinions are. I'm looking for one that is retractable. I like the look of the second one, but not sure about its usefulness.

I got a Task Force 50' of 3/8" hose reel at Lowes for $89.00. Everywhere else they are $120-$150 but under different brand names.

If I had the $$ I would buy to double reinforced hose reel from Coxreels

i only have one qd plumbed in my shop that is 4' off the ground. i have two reels hung up in the rafters of my shop that i use for all of my air needs. it is nice not to have to deal with hoses. anyway i have a 25' reel and a 50' reel. one on each end of my 30'x40' shop (10' from each end actually). i would go with 50 footers. the one 50' reel i have is nice because the extra hose sure comes in handy. both of my reels are cheapys that i picked up but they have been working great for a year now.

I got a 3/8 auto rewind hose reel from of all places...walmart. It was on sale for $50! I think the original price was around 60.
