I'm going to be running sagged 3.5" black diamond leaf springs in a SOA dana 44 set up.

Do I need to run the 1" spacer for the Avalanche high steer arms to clear the arc of the leafs?

If so, do you know what length stud I will have to use to pass thru the arm, spacer and nut?

Any pictures?

I am only going to guess basied on my rig. I used Waggy 2.5" lift springs on a Cruiser with a shackle reversal and I needed to run bent arms and a 3/8" spacer to clear my springs. I am sure you will need a 1" spacer and some 1" longer studs. You can get 3" studs from ARP and change out the fine thread stover nuts to coarse therad stover nuts.

Here are two pics of mine:

Every application is different,

For my CJ I had to run 1 inch spacers, I am flat springs with a shackle reversal.

The key is the angled arms. I would get the spacers just in case, I measured my chevy studs and went and got bolts that were longer. Like eric said you can get ARP studs. I just used grade eight bolts.
