What are part numbers for the inner and outer bearings for an 89 waggy 44. What about the races? The chart over at Mr. N's website only had the early 44 part numbers. :(

1978- 1992 uses the same front D44 parts

706031X - inner pinion bearing kit
706030X - outer pinion bearing kit

also try using the dana expert website when looking for dana parts

Outer- set45
Inner- LM104949
Race- JLM104949
Seal- 471271

I know this is late, but your old bearings should have those numbers imprinted on them. So should the races. Bearing part numbers are fairly universal, usually just with one digit added to them depending on the make.

This might be helpful for future reference on any automotive bearing.

Thanks, the old bearings weren't timken though.

It doesn't matter the make of the bearings. As I said, bearing part numbers are pretty universal.

For example a Timken Dana 44 carrier bearing is part number 25590. Another brand of the same bearing might be a 25590G or G25590. The important part is the actual numbers which don't usually change from brand to brand as long as they are for the same application.

i wish bearings were just a number off, it would make things a lot easier. For the most part, they arent though....

Usually, even the idiots at vatozone can cross reference those numbers. You *should be able to take almost any bearing in there and have it crossed to a timken number

Every bearing I've used has a very similar part number. It could be because I stick with the same two or three brands though and none of them are the cheap imports.

As Jeeprz mentioned any real auto parts store should be able to cross reference an old bearing part number to another brand anyhow. There again, I stay away from the parts stores with the pimpled kids behind the counter who wouldn't even know where the bearing book is located.
