Anyone know whether a manual Disco pedal box will fit in a RRC auto, or will the dash support interfere with the clutch pedal?

RRC with manual transmission were produced together with automatic ones. As long as 3.5 and 3.9V8 - versions are concerned I´m pretty sure. And I read from people who did converting autobox > Manual-transmission. So little doubt about it is possible. (still, more desirable to keep the automatic box IMHO).

200 tdi is stong enough to motor about a RRC. M&D can sell you the parts to make it work. Give them a call if you cannot check their website.

The disco pedal cluster could be used. The difference will be around the steering shaft. You can cut and shunt to make it work. If it were me I would use the one in the vehicle and add a clutch pedal. I have done this a number of times. But I am Pendy.

Pendy, so yuo just fabbed up a bracket and welded to the RRC pedal box? 'Cause I can't see any fixings there already. Since I'm going ot have to order a clutch MC and an actual pedal, I might as well just get a complete pedal box from a manual tranny RRC. If I can find a LHD one.

Yeah just fabbed up a bracket and bought a pedal/master cylinder etc.. I have even done this without removing the pedal box or brake master cylinder. But that is only for advanced flat raters.

If you fab the bracket I do usually cheat and make a cardboard template from a corrrect pedal box. Also the newer clutch masters strongly resemble a SAAB 900 clutch master other then the pushrod length. I could make one work in this application. The hole for the clutch master is already in the pedal box you have and it will fit the SAAB part, so just build from there.

Good Luck

oh yeah just cut down your brake pedal and put a smaller rubber on it, big boy.

(and it only cost me $4000 with 89k on the engine and 10k on a recon box and new clutch)

Wow, that sounds like a great deal!!

The only pic I would really need would be looking up at the pedal linkage from inside, but you'd have to pull off the bottom cover of the dash. Thanks for the offer though.
