I thought they were the same. Are you talking about 8 valve vs. 16 valve? Or am I the one thats wrong?

i have been researching them both and they give out pretty much the same power and they both have lots of up grades to get more power i am just wondering if one is stronger like they the block and running condition basically which one is the tougher engine. thanks

The suzuki motor will definetly be better then any chevy motor just by virtue of those plastic logos on the outher sheet metal and the fact that the japs dumped a fistfull of sand into a crankcase of each block comming of the assembly line destined for a tracker wrapper.:flipoff2:
What's with all the BC newbs lately??

Pssst! Don't tell anyone they are the same!

Well, even though the Sidekick, and the Tracker are made side-by-side on the same assembly line at CAMI in Ontario, the Suzuki engine is MUCH stronger. It has the reverse dethrombulator nodes on the camshaft, and comes with stock Knutson valves. That gives it about 135 HP in free-fall. Oh, and DO NOT put one of those "chips" from ebay, that's supposed to give you an additional 20 HP, on the Tracker Motor - it'll blow the thin webbing between the cylinders to shreds! Also - be sure to completely flush out all the engine oil with mineral spirits, and replace it with new oil, once a year.

Are there any other bogus things, anybody else can think up?:D
